On September 11, 1999, Grasshopper Productions filmed its first wedding in Burbank, California for Lawerence and Karen Cook. In the decade to follow Grasshopper Productions has grown to be one of Houston's leading wedding videographers. Michele joined Grasshopper shortly after we were married on November 6th, 2004 and has added greatly to the success of our company.

Michele is our primary videographer and cinematic editor, while Ivan provides second camera, audio, and works on the color grading, sound editing, and DVD design of your wedding film. Our wedding videos have gone from long form 2 hour DVDs to fresh, cinematic wedding films that are usually 20 to 30 minutes in length. Grasshopper Productions offers two styles for your wedding film. The fresh and exciting Cinematic edit (usually 20 to 35 minutes in length) and the Documentary style where you see the day unfold as it originally was. So, which style is right for you?

Documentary edits are as they happened, in the order they ran on the day, with little cut out. The cinematic edits however are very heavily edited to tell your wedding story in a unique way, with stedicam and dolly shots, filmed in HD with two camera angles for the day as well as a Dolby Digital 5.1 mix whenever possible.
