Ivan and Michele,

Thank you so much for doing such a beautiful job putting our wedding video together! We truly enjoyed watching it and remembering our special day. We especially loved how you caught all the highlights, good and bad! My favorite part is the spilling of red wine all over the front of my dress! It is just one of many incidents which made our wedding day so memorable. We laughed so hard at so many things… thank you! You guys are great and we will be sure to refer friends and family to you. Again, thank you for creating such beautiful and timeless memories!

Ferrari 599GTB

Today we had an opportunity to photograph Michele in a Ferrari 599 GTB. Michele has loved Ferrari’s since she was 3 years old. The Ferrari Michele fell in love with is the Ferrari 308 GTB. However, her favorite Ferrari of all time is the Ferrari 250 GTO. She also obviously loves Formula 1 and roots for her team every week. So in all, Michele had a lot of fun with the photo shoot. We also got a few shots of the car using our Macro lens to show off some of the finer details of the car.

HTML Version of our web site

Grasshopper Productions has just placed online the HTML Wedding photography and videography web site. The majority of the HTML version is identical to the Flash version, such as the descriptions, and prices to our packages. There are some differences as the HTML version does not have as many photo samples or Demo Reels. If you do not have Flash and wish to view more samples we can schedule a meeting to watch these in person at our studios. The HTML version of our site is an effort to be able to be viewed on any platform, so that all potential customers can view what we have to offer. The Flash version of our Wedding photography and videography web site is available at www.ghpstudios.com.

GHP Studios Online Photography Store

The GHP Studios photography store has just recently been given a facelift. Our new storefront is now even easier to navigate, and looks much better as well.

The photography store will be featuring images from San Francisco California, Yosemite National Park California, and nature and macro photography from the Houston, Texas area.

We have a few images online now and will be adding more as time goes on. The photographs are provided in 8 x 10 prints and matted so your print will be ready for framing once you receive it. Our two top images are of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and Half Dome in Yosemite National Park California.

New background for our studio

In the past Grasshopper Productions has always done it’s photo sessions on location. While this has always provided great results, it did pose issues during the “hot” months in Houston, and there are quite a few of them. So we have upgraded our studio equipment and added more studio lights, background stands and a great canvas background to do studio photography. We are very excited to be able to offer our brides additional options in their photo sessions now. We started off by testing out our new backgrounds by photographing our cats. I have 10 images total online in the Featured Gallery section, there are two here as a sample. More to come in the future.

San Antonio and Sea World

The trip to San Antonio was wonderful. Both Michele and I had a great time while visiting for our first time. We took a number of photographs while we were there which you can view online at www.ghpstudios.com in the Featured Gallery section. We plan to continue to go back and take more photographs at Sea World and continue to try and get better images of all the animals there. My favorite photograph of this visit is of the Puffins. It’s not very easy getting a lot of these images as the animals move very quickly, and are usually at some distance from you. Be on the lookout for more images soon.

Welcome

I would like to welcome everyone to Grasshopper Productions Blog. Michele and I both love photography and videography and enjoy sharing our work with others. We are currently working on a new web site that should be going live in the next few days. Also coming up this holiday weekend is a trip to San Antonio where we plan on getting some interesting photographs of the Riverwalk and surround areas. More posts will be following over time, so keep checking back to see what’s new.
